A 60 m² apartment living area transformed through light, fluidity, and thoughtful boundaries.
This project explores how small spaces can feel open and harmonious by redefining circulation and creating soft separations that shape daily life.
The goal was simple yet essential: organize the entrance and the living area without closing them — allowing the home to flow with clarity and intention
SMALL SPACE-BIG TRANSFORMATION
In this 60 m² apartment living area, the challenge was to bring structure and serenity to a compact space while preserving a sense of openness.
The intention was to separate the entrance from the living room without creating visual barriers, designing a home that feels both organized and fluid.
The focal element of the project became a custom-designed TV unit, conceived as a functional architectural gesture. Its shelves and drawers provide vertical balance and generous storage, anchoring the living area without interrupting the spatial rhythm. It gives the room identity and purpose, acting as the heart of the day zone.
To mark the transition from the entrance to the living room, a dividing wall with open shelves was introduced — a permeable boundary that lets natural light pass through and maintains an unbroken visual connection. It creates a soft threshold: a space that welcomes, guides, and separates, without ever closing.
Together, these elements transform the apartment into a fluid sequence of spaces, where light travels freely and proportions feel expanded. A home where function and emotion align, proving that even the smallest interiors can feel generous when design listens to space — and to the lives within it.
Open perspectives and soft transitions that expand the sense of space, that was the key!
A permeable entrance divider that filters light and defines the flow.
A tailored TV unit that organizes the living area with harmony and calm.
