Indoor Transformation Concept
The main challenge of this project was to open the kitchen towards the living and dining area, allowing the space to fully benefit from its sea view while maintaining a sense of visual order and comfort.
The design explores a contemporary and functional solution that balances openness with privacy. A carefully considered layout and simple, contemporary furnishings help minimize both kitchen odors and the visual presence of everyday clutter, without compromising the connection between the two spaces.
Dragos transformation how comes?
Clean lines, a restrained material palette and contemporary furniture were selected to create a calm and cohesive interior, allowing the Marmara Sea to remain the visual focal point of the space.
BEFORE & AFTER SECTION
A stunning sea view that should be part of the daily experience of the home
The client wanted to preserve the beautiful sea view while creating a comfortable space to watch TV and enjoy time with family and friends.
The design therefore aims to balance the openness of the space with the needs of everyday living, creating a welcoming living area without compromising the connection with the view.
The challenge was to create a stronger visual connection between the entrance, the living-dining room and the kitchen.
The solution was to introduce sliding glass panels as part of a multifunctional furniture block. This element works as a kitchen island on one side and as a console for the dining area on the other, providing convenient storage for plates, glasses and everyday dining essentials.
As we can see in this picture the living area already enjoys the sea and the city view with a wonderful natural light.
The challenge was to connect all the different areas of the apartment with the kitchen, creating a continuous living environment that brings together the entrance, kitchen, dining and living areas, and the outdoor terrace.
To keep the sea view as the main focus, we selected a palette inspired by the surrounding landscape — sand, blue, green and soft grey tones — combined with natural and contemporary materials.
